Dry Cleaning is like doing laundry. We separate colors, put in a washing machine. The Clothes get wet. Then go through a spin cycle, then dry cycle.

The difference between washing and dry cleaning is that dry cleaning doesn’t use water. It uses a different liquid solvent. The solvent that we use is K4. Dry Cleaning solvents only get rid of Oil Based stains. Oil Based stains would include; Make up, ring around the collar, Butter. Because Dry Cleaning does not use water, it will not get rid of water based stains like; blood, urine, perspiration, vegetable. If you have a blouse that has a perspiration odor, you can dry clean it 10 times and it will still have the odor. That’s when wet cleaning comes in. Wet cleaning, simply speaking, is extra careful washing. We can wet clean silk, wool, and most other “dry clean only” items.
